The Uffizi Gallery houses the collection of the Medici family and is one of the oldest and most famous art museums in the world. Periodically I've walked by just to see the exterior sculptures while passing the hundreds of people often waiting in line. Fortunately, the Renaissance Art in the Courts class I'm taking reserved a visit. Monumental works of Giotto, Botticelli, and Titian are housed here. The collection was amazing, here is a glimpse inside..
Paintings are easier to look at when not on the ceiling.
Nm just hangin, not thinking about anatomy, hbu

Much Madonna and Child, much deuces

Caravaggio, your framing is better than mine..
Possibly the largest collection of Caravaggio's work is housed here. He was a master of lighting so it was painful to see that the museum does them poor justice with the way they are lit from above.
And to end, a close up of a deathly paradise.
